"Why is that?" I asked I'm curious, tilted my head in slight confusion. "I won't hut myself. But if you don't want me to I won't." I muttered softly. He was the boss here, and if I wanted to stay on his good side I would listen to him.

"Because I feel it's better not to dwell on something that won't be of any use in getting a job," Lucien said, pursing his lips for a moment.

Emilia
"But it is good for protection." I pointed out, before biting my tongue. I should listen to what he says, not go against it.

Lucien took the knives from her belt, running his hand over them and they disappeared. "They're in my trailer. As for protection, you don't need it here. I protect everyone. And if you're serious about knives, talk to Madeleine."

Emilia
I was at a loss of words. Something between, 'Bring them back' and 'How can you do that' crossed my mind, but I said neither. "Alright. I will later." I nodded. I tapped my hand against my leg, unsure of what to do with it. it felt awkward not holding or having the knife with me.

Lucien nodded and left Emilia, but Seraphina stood on the ground, looking at her with a small, slightly dazed smile. Reese also came back to stand by her. silently, he wondered about everyone else, too, but she caught his interest the most.

I smiled back at the girl before turning to walk around some. When I turned I slammed into yet another guy and fell backwards. How many guys where here?! Honestly.

(Seraphina is two, just for the record... And who did she walk into?)

Reese took her shoulders, stabalizing him. This girl had some serious sight issues. He had been standing right in front of her, as clear as day and she just walked right into him. "Maybe I should get Lucien to see if you're blind," he said.

Emilia
I blushed lightly. "Not blind. Just not all that observant." I mumbled, biting my lower lip. "Thanks." I said as he steadied me.

Octavian nodded, glancing back in the general direction of the girl. "Is it her looks?" He asked her. She didn't sound like she could do anything special from the way Nox talked about her. Actually, it was more complaining, but all the same. "And the twins always seem relatively excited."

Reese grinned. "No problem," he said, letting her shoulders go hasilty. "So, you're the new girl..." he said, slightly awkwardly. "I'm the new guy." He spoke with a small smile, nearly all the time.

Emilia
"yeah, I'm Emilia." I smiled back to him. "Reese right? I think we ran into each other earlier, but things got over whelming with everyone hovering around me."

Adenlina: I shrugged. "I cant really say if its her looks. I think its just because she's new. Apparently she's old friends with Xander." i remarked. "As for the twins..... well, yes. I suppose they ususally are excited. Its like they're perpetually sugar high or something." i said with light humor, a hint of a smile on my face.

Octavian nodded with a small smile. He would have rolled his eyes, but doing really anything with them made him feel like he would make people uncomfortable. Instad, he stayed smiling. "Old friends... What a coincidence," he scoffed.

Reese nodded.b"Yeah, they did, didn't they... I think it might have been Lucien. He can come off as slightly intimidating," he said, scrunching his nose. Reese didn't really like Lucien and he didn't think that Lucien liked him, either.

Emilia
"Just slightly?" I laughed lightly, my voice ringing like soft winter bells. "I won't lie, the man scares me." maybe that's what made me want to please him.

Reese laughed a little. "But you like it," he said softly. "It's easy to tell in your eyes," he said and then smiled, to brighten the mood after his ominous tone. What is she really liked him? Why did it matter to him? It wasn't like he was in any position to stop it.

Capria held Seraphina on her lap, the small girl's curls bouncing about. Capria smiled and so didn't Sera. They had a strong bond, weaker than the one between Lucien and her, but still strong. Stronger than any of the workers. She had actually heard some rumors that the girl was hers. She wouldn't ever reveal if it was true or not. What would it matter if she was? She started braiding the girls hair, while the girl played with her own cotton candy blue hair.

Adelina: I laughed softly, a quiet chime-like sound. "Perhaps they were searching for each other? You never know. The world works in mysterious ways. Not all that appears to be truly is." i said.

"I like that he is protective and is giving me a place to stay. I am grateful for that." I looked at the ground again.
