Cirque de Charlevoix

Hello and welcome to the Charleviox Circus, featuring acts both mystyfying and monstorous. The circus is run by our very own Lucien Charleviox. We feature all acts seen at a normal circus, but amplified for consumer satisfaction. Once you have seen our show, it will stay with you... forever.



To the circus comers, the Charleviox seems like a perfectly normal.. Wait, extrodinary circus. They feature every act imaginable, but it's appearances aren't all they're cracked up to be. The big top is under a thick glamour, produced by Lucien. Customers might be frightened if they knew where they were without it, so what's the harm? After working in the circus for a while, the glamor is invisible to you, but you still have to act like it is there. Now, as I have mentioned before... Stay a while.

Looks: Dark blonde hair, tall, blue eyes, pale, handsome, angular face

In the Cirque? If yes, job: Yes, Ringmaster.

Other: He started the Cirque when he was 17 and has a bad habit of nabbing crowd members with "potential." Some say he is magic, some say he's just very persuasive. No one has really gotten close enough to him to know. Not even Capria.

In the Cirque? If yes, job: Yes, Tight-rope walker/ Acrobat

Other: She has an odd relationship with Lucien that some can't decipher. They aren't sure if it's romantic or like family. Frankly, some are creeped out by it. She doesn't take any crap, independent, loyal to the Cirque. She gets into fights sometimes, for being too loyal to Lucien.

Other: Mysterious. No one really knows his past. Isnt afraid to fight

Looks: innocent face. Big, brown eyes, pale skin. Freckles. Brown hair that falls into her face every now and then. Short and mousy...5 feet tall and weighs about 100 pounds. Is tiny.

Other: Is the girl Xander has been looking for. He would do almost anything to protect her. will promise anything besides her or her life.

Other: Joined the circus when was 13 years old. She ran away from her family who she thought was out to get her. Loved the circus ever since, she takes her job seriously.

In the Cirque? If yes, job: Yes, he manages everything. He fixes what needs to be fixed and he works behind the scenes at the shows.

Other: he was in the circus since he was 15. He has never had any mager talent that was worth being in the show so became the janitor/ repair man of the circus.

Lucien is the manager.

Capria gripped her parasol tightly and the lace of her dress tickled the top of her thighs. Her long hair hung down in tangled blue waves. She smiled down at Lucien, who met her with a brilliant grin. She jumped down from the tightrope, bouncing slightly in the old net that hung some forty feet below. She was the first person to enter the circus and Lucien's pride and joy. No one trumped her ablilities here. Nothing ever seemed quite normal between the two, but neither of then knew if anyone actually noticed. Capria brushed herself off and got down from the net, looking around the room.

Name: Drogan Chase

Looks: Tall, lightly built with a small bit of muscular definition. Pale, shaggy brown hair, blue eyes.

In the Cirque? If yes, job: A contortionist. Performs with his twin sister.

Other: Is Kiki's twin brother.

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Looks: Small, delicate looking, lightly built. Short, slender. fair skinned, bright blue eyes and thick curly dark brown hair.

In the Cirque? If yes, job: Yes, llike her brother, she is a contortionist.

Other: Twins with Drogan. They ran away from their single, abusive alcoholic father at age 14.



Name: Adelina Snow

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Looks: Tiny, very lightly built, pixie-like in appearance. Very long hair (down to her lower back). A bit of a shaggy scene cut, naturally grows black underneath and white on top. Heavy white bangs that she tends to hide behind. Bright, almost unnaturally green eyes. Very, VERY pale skin. Moves very gracefully.

In the Cirque? If yes, job: Yes, a snake charmer of sorts.

Other: An orphan. She's very shy and rarely speaks. When she IS heard, she tends to be quiet, but she has a bit of a hidden temper. Her one and only companion is a very enormous silver/white snake named Lilium (sometimes referred to as Lily). Adelina is very close with her snake. She is pretty much the only one it obeys and they seem to be able to communicate through more of a basic understanding than the spoken word alone.

After seeing Capria, Lucien left the big top. He busied himself near the animal cages. One large cage was his favorite. Inside, sat three, large dire wolves. Yes, the "extinct" ones. One,the largest, the leader, was Epsilon. The black one that flanked him was Omicron. The smallest one, a rusty brown wolf named Sigma sat in the corner. All of them were as large as horses and deadlier by tenfolds.

Lucien bit his lip Epsilon, snapped out at him, drool hanging from his jowels. "Epsilon! Μείνε πίσω, θα ωμής!" He snapped, his voice taking on the same growl he had made. His ears went back and he lowered to the ground. "Sigma, Omicron. Πάρτε αυτό ως προειδοποίηση σας, επίσης." His voice sounded like a mix between a bark and the crack of flames.

Marci: I grabbed a hold of my long gypsy dress tightly as I stripped in carriage to put on my outfit. My dress was of many layers and many jewelry. The big fake coins on the bottom of my drape jingled as I wrapped it around me. The dress cut low on my chest and the sleeves draped over my shoulders. I put in my big hoop earrings and slipped on my flat bottomed shoes. I then wrapped my bandana in my hair and finally walked out of the carriage and looked at some familiar faces. I smiled at Brackley as I saw him walked around with nothing to do. I waved solemnly and went inside the tent, getting ready for my part.

Brackley: I saw Marci and waved back as I walked inside the tent and saw Lucien with Epsilon.

Emilia
I walked into the Cirque, looking down at the poster in my hand then looking around. Their was a guy who looked strangely similar to Xander and i had come here to check it out. Looking around, I found the ring master. I hesitantly walked over to him and came up behind him tapping his shoulder gently to get his attention.

Lucien spun around, looking at the girl sharply and letting the cutain fly over the wolves. "Yes, how may I help you?" He asked.

OOC: Also, i forgot to mention that Adelina, like her snake, is very sensitive to temperature. She's quick to overheat and even quicker to freeze. She utterly despises the cold.

Kiki: I was walking around on my hands absently with nothing to do. "Walking on your hands? Really?" asked Drogan as he emerged from our tent. "You can do better than that." he said. I grinned and nodded, bending over bakwards until my feet touched the ground and stood up before re-positioning myself. I was now walking on my hands, but i was upright with my feet behind my head. "Better?" i asked. He grinned, clearly amused. I knew i should be practicing more seriously, but i didnt take anythign seriously so why bother?

Adelina: I sat outside my tent in the nice warm sun with Lily, swaying back and forth gently with the breeze, a small smile on my face. The snake's eyes were fixed on mine as she rose up and swayed with me absently, mirroring my motions, her tongue occasionally flicking out to taste the air. To most others, Lily was an enormous scary snake with fangs the size of small bananas and enough poison to knock an elephant dead in about a minute and still be deadly enough for more. But to me she was my best friend, my only family, and my closest companion.

I took a step back as he looked at me sharply. "Um...i'm here to ask about the boy in this poster..." I muttered sheepishly, looking at the ground and letting my hair cover my face.

Lucien pursed his lips, snatching the poster from between the girl's fingers. "Yes... What about him?" He asked, his tone sounding slightly bored. It was Xander, one of his workers.

His bored tone and snatching of the poster made me want to retreat. I wasnt good with people. I wasnt a people person. "I-is h-he here?" I stumbled over the three words, scared.

"If you meant to say 'Is he here?' then yes, yes he is," Lucien said. "I'm not sure where Xander is, though," he pursed his lips, looking around.
